Choosing a dog bed in Bray
Bray is the one town where people ask about size for the room rather than size for the dog. Apartments, small back yards, a bed that has to live in a hall.
The honest answer is that a raised bed usually takes up less usable floor than a big foam donut, because it doesn't sprawl and nothing gets shoved underneath it. Measure your dog nose to tail while they're stretched out, add a hand's width, and that's the size — Joan will talk it through if you'd rather send a photo of the corner it's going in.
And for the seafront crowd: salt water is hard on fabric and kind to nothing. Canvas and galvanised steel handle it. Rinse, wipe, done.
Semrush (Ireland) shows around 390 searches a month for "pet shop Bray" and 170 for "dog grooming Bray" — the busiest dog town in Wicklow by search demand, and the hardest to stand out in, which is why this page stays specific rather than generic.
Nearby areas for delivery enquiries: Shankill · Enniskerry · Kilmacanogue · Old Connaught.

Bray — frequently asked
Do you deliver handmade dog beds to Bray?
Yes — deliveries run from Ferns, Co. Wexford up to Bray, Shankill, Enniskerry and Kilmacanogue. Message Joan on WhatsApp and she'll confirm the next run north.
Which size suits a small apartment in Bray?
Most apartment dogs land on Small (€70) or Medium (€78). Measure your dog stretched out nose to tail and add roughly a hand's width — or send Joan a photo of the space and she'll advise.
Is a raised bed better than a foam bed for a young dog?
Owners tell us it lasts a great deal longer. There's no stuffing to pull out, no zip, no cover — just tensioned canvas on a steel frame. It also stays cooler in summer, which suits thick-coated breeds.
